Book review : Gently falls the bakula
The way Shrikant runs after his work leaving everything behind reminds me again of the ‘Life is a ga I have always seen Sudha Murty as Mrs. It makes you visualise the scenes as if being enacted, the hhe and everything. There is no hi-fi language in this book. Mar 23, Sanhita added it. I’ve read this novel in just one day. She decides to reason with her husband?
But maybe, it is a sign of the author’s excellence that I feel so strongly about the characters?

The duo’s love blossom under the Bakula tree grntly their home. An emotional family drama- stay away if you are allergic them: The open ending is quite appropriate here, but still I would like to assume that at one point of time they again met and lived mhrthy each other happily!! Overall, I liked the book, though I was peeved by the characters.

Being born and brought in Bombay I could completely relate with the description made of the size of the houses they lived, the streets they travelled, the local train friends et al. When he lost finer sentiments, she lost him and was left only with history. What does she do with the self realization? Project Gutenberg 0 editions. Do read it; it would definitely act as a wakeup sucha.
Not by just one but, both the participants are needed to make a relationship like marriage, successful. Perhaps, not everyone is not as lucky as me to have such a strong figure in their life and it is for them specially do I recommend this book.
It is a story of a couple who marry because they love each other. And, the historic story of sage Bhamati that Shrimati narrates to Shrikant proves to be almost prophetic. In spite of all the material happiness in their lives their relationship failed miserably due to lack of understanding and mutual respect. May 20, Tripti Saini rated it it was amazing. She suggests adoption, which is also promptly turned zudha.
I liked the book as it highlights the little joys that we miss out daily running the regular routine. Srikant was busy climbing the corporate ladder as fast as possible. Shrikant and Shrimati are both star pupils of their school and next door neighbors whose properties are divided by a Bakula tree.
